Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Area Recon platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Account Terms
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
- One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.
Subscriptions & Billing
Area Recon offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods.
Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
Credits & Reports
Reports are generated using credits included in your subscription or purchased separately. Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Unused credits included with monthly plans do not roll over between billing periods. Purchased credit packs do not expire.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or programmatically extract data from the platform beyond normal use
- Resell or redistribute reports without authorization
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Impersonate another person or entity
Data Accuracy Disclaimer
Market intelligence reports generated by Area Recon contain estimates, projections, and analysis based on publicly available data sources including the U.S. Census Bureau, business directories, and industry benchmarks. These reports are intended to inform business decisions, not to serve as guaranteed financial outcomes.
Revenue projections, market sizing figures, competitive density scores, and demographic analyses are modeled approximations. Actual results may vary significantly. Area Recon does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data or analysis provided. You should conduct your own due diligence before making business or investment decisions.
Intellectual Property
The Area Recon platform, including its design, code, algorithms, and branding, is owned by Area Recon. Reports you generate are yours to use for your business purposes, but you may not resell the underlying data or methodology. Public data sourced from government agencies remains in the public domain.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Area Recon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
